More Easter

The Easter celebrations continued with the other side of the family. Here are a few pictures. Unfortunately a lot were blurry, so I left them out. As you can see, Emma was spoiled with wonderful gifts including many for the yard. She loved her gardening gloves, watering can, kneeling pad, wagon, wheelbarrow, and more. She will be a terrific helper in the yard with the perfect tools!

Foley Easter

Emma greatly enjoyed her Easter weekend with the Foley family. She dyed eggs and added Mickey Mouse Clubhouse stickers after they dried. We saved these to eat later on. Then the great aunts put together a hunt in the front yard using plastic eggs filled with all sorts of goodies: coins, stickers, fruit snacks, and undies. There were a few other presents as well.

Circus, Circus

We took Emma to the Gamma Phi Circus for the first time this year. Scott and I had been to this annual event, so we knew what to expect and talked it up in the days prior. Emma was really excited for the acrobats, tumblers, jugglers, clowns, etc. We enjoyed some popcorn and three-fourths of the show. Emma had reached her fill after 1 and 1/2 hours of entertainment and a 20 minute intermission. It was a great family event!

Puppet Palooza

The public library had a Puppet Palooza event during Spring Break week. They offered about 20 different animal puppets for the kids to make. They looked amazing. Emma chose the elephant and giraffe. We constructed the purple elephant, but then Emma ran out of artistic steam. She wanted to go home and play outside. So we saved the giraffe for an at-home project.
