SOLD

On the market. Off the market.

I haven't made the time to post lately, because our focus has been on getting our house ready for the real estate market. Within three days of the listing, we agreed on a deal. Now our minds are reeling as we plan for our new place.

Discovering More

The pass we recently purchased for a year membership to the Discovery Museum has been used quite often already.  The weekends are busy with visitors, but on this day, our school district was still on Winter Break and the surrounding area schools were back in session.  That made for a calm experience.  In the slideshow, you'll see that Emma made a pizza, drove the Avantii's delivery car, fed the babies in the nursery, and played checkers and chess.

Scott has taken Emma to the Museum during the work week several times this past month.  He likes to get there right when they open and enjoy about two hours of exploring before lunch and naptime.  Now that she's realizing that we WILL be back to play on another day, leaving isn't such a big issue.

Daddy's Puzzles

Emma has several of her own puzzles at home, but she enjoyed exploring puzzles that Uncle Larry and Daddy once played with (along with hundreds of kindergarteners) during our January visit to Beardstown. She is used to matching farm animals, pets, and shapes. Here she assembled fruit, a train, and Charlie Brown.

Play Dough

While at Grandpa and Grandma Foley's, we brought out the play dough and cookie cutters. Scott and I may have had the most fun pressing out different shapes for Emma to manipulate and smoosh back into the containers.

Beardstown Christmas

We were finally able to celebrate Christmas with the Foley clan in mid-January. It was also a month full of birthdays (GG Charlotte, Papa Ross, and Scott), so there were many presents to be shared. Emma loved her books, guitar, Elmo Jack-in-the Box, Little People barn, and clothes. We were so glad that Great Aunt Melody, Great Aunt Cindy, Great Uncle Ralph, and Great Grandma Charlotte were there, too.
