First Day of Kindergarten

  

Emma was decked out in Hello Kitty (outfit, backpack, and lunchbox) on her first day of school.  She was beaming with anticipation and excitement!  Scott was able to take off the morning to escort her on the big day.  Since I also had kids coming for the first day of school, I had to miss this one.  But I think these precious photos make up for it.

Miller Park Zoo

It was another warm day, but we braved the zoo one morning.  The animals were not very active, but Emma enjoyed our adventure.  Lauren was more interested in snacks, but that goes with the toddler territory.

Professional Portraits

Lauren was not a fan of family pictures . . . when she wouldn't let go of Scott or stop crying, we had to cancel our appointment and try again a few days later.  It took a while for her to warm up, but thankfully the photographer got a few good shots.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Scott and I took Emma to her first CornBelters game in August.  She was scheduled to go on a field trip with her preschool in May along with her Papa and Grandma, but it was rained out.  We were given 3 replacement tickets and took advantage of the opportunity to have a special outing with Emma.  The game started at 7:00, so we didn't make it to the fireworks at the end, but Emma enjoyed many sights, sounds, and tastes!
