Today was a special day!  We welcomed our second daughter, Lauren Rose, into our family.  She celebrates her birthday with her Papa Mike who was also born on April 20!  Big sister, Emma, is over the moon to meet her little "sugar baby" who she called Rosie even before we knew we were having a girl.

Baby Boy or Girl?

Emma's got something pretty special that she'd like to share with you! She'll have a little sister in late April! (Emma was overjoyed to find her pink bath duck in the baby bag, but the actual color didn't phase her. So much for our creative announcement!)

Bib is for Baby

Emma only knew that Scott and I had ordered cookies to share with our family members and Mommy's teacher friends. She was so excited to open the box and see them. And while she recognized the pink and blue booties, rattles, bibs, footprints, bottles, etc., she didn't question why we would want cookies with baby designs. She just wanted to eat one! This was surprising, because she doesn't have a sweet tooth. We were trying to tell Emma that she was going to be a big sister as she nibbled away on her dessert!
