Grandparents with Girls

At Amelia's first birthday party, we were able to capture all three granddaughters with Papa Mike and Grammy Jill.  This was no small feat!

Lauren's Baptism

We celebrated Lauren's baptism the first weekend in September, the same day as Grandma Connie and Aunt Stephanie's birthdays!  Hurricane Sandy prevented Uncle Larry, Aunt Missy, and Sydney from flying in, but Uncle Chad, Aunt Steph, and Baby Girl Schultz were able to take part along with other family members.  Lauren's two aunts and two uncles are her Godparents, just as with Emma.  Though it was a bit snug, Lauren wore Emma's christening gown.  (Both girls were baptized at 4 months old.)  During the ceremony, Emma held a special baptismal cloth made by Grandma Connie and handed it to Pastor to dry Lauren's head.  Afterward, extended family gathered at Grammy Jill and Papa Mike's house (now in Bloomington) for a yummy lunch reception.

Merriment in Manhattan

Emma was able to spend time with her Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Chad as well as Great Aunt Pam, Great Uncle Marty, Great Aunt Heidi, and her second cousins Jamie, Ricky, Ashley, and Lindsey on Christmas day in Manhattan. Grandpa Mike and Grandma Jill were there, too. We had a good time visiting with each other, eating delicious food, opening gifts, sledding indoors, and playing with new toys.

Schultz Wedding

My brother, Chad, and his fiance, Stephanie, tied the knot on Saturday, August 29. These photos are a collection of highlights from many cameras at the wonderful event in Chicago.

Babe in Black and White

Grandma Jill took a beautiful picture of Emma with me at my brother's wedding last weekend. Yes, I did just compliment myself, but holding my sweet baby girl is what makes the photo so special. Aunt Stephanie's Bridal Shower

We had a bridal shower for my soon-to-be sister-in-law, Stephanie, in Palos Park on Sunday at her Aunt Janette's beautiful home. It was a gorgeous day! Here are a few highlights!

Celebration Surprise

My brother, Chad, and soon-to-be sister-in-law, Stephanie, showed up on our doorstep last Sunday. They surprised my mom and me by driving down from Chicago to celebrate Mother's Day (the weekend after) and my birthday. Their wedding plans are in full swing! It was fun to hear all of the details. We enjoyed the visit immensely!

Kristen's brother, Chad, and his fiancee, Stephanie, spent some quality time with Emma last weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Schultz's house in Decatur. Everyone had so much fun!
